The Cocktail Bar was located where The Swiss Chalet is now (on the north side of The Strip, just east of Woody’s World). There was a strong rivalry between The Cocktail Bar and Swallows Bar.
One of the traditions on the lake in the 1950s and 1960s was for the gang of the Swallows bar to invade the Cocktail Bar. These images of that frivolity, provided by Louis DiFabio, capture the comedy of those events.
