His solo performances feature an acoustic guitar in hand and a distinctive stage presence and a dynamic rhythm with a kick drum behind one foot and a tambourine behind the other. His full band performances with his band, the Hitchhikers, give a nod to bluegrass, traditional country and modern folk/Americana.
