Ashtabula County Historical Society

The Ashtabula County Historical Society, established in 1838, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Ashtabula County. Now, 185 years later, it continues its mission thanks to the commitment of its all-volunteer team. During the summer months, guests can explore the Jennie Munger Museum through guided tours. Additionally, the society hosts the popular Log Cabin Days event annually at Blakeslee Log Cabin, which takes place on the weekend after Labor Day. Special group tours of the Giddings Law Office are available at Giddings Park for those seeking a unique historical experience. Everyone is encouraged to take a tour or join the team of volunteers dedicated to preserving and promoting local history.
