He is a singer, songwriter, and guitar player based in the Western Pennsylvania/Eastern Ohio region.
His musical roots are grounded in classic rock, folk, blues, and punk, drawing influence from artists such as Robert Johnson, Taj Mahal, The Black Keys, Justin Townes Earle, Bon Iver, and Lenny Kravitz.
Most of his recordings are created at home or in a larger-scale home studio owned by a relative.
“It’s just for the joy of playing,” he says. Winterberger is also a huge fan of Bob Dylan and was raised on classic rock, while performing a wide variety of material—from Lead Belly, Eric Clapton, and Muddy Waters to Isaac Hayes, Billy Joel, and Pink Floyd.
“A huge part of what he plays is ‘60s and ‘70s pop,” he says. “The goal is to make it accessible and fun.”
